Round Robin Writing - Was it fun? - YES!!

We are learning to use speech marks, commas and separate paragraphs for dialogue. To do this we formed four groups of six for collaborative writing. The first person started a conversation using the correct punctuation and paragraph structure in their book,  the book was passed onto the second person to add their dialogue, then it passed onto the third person, and so on. The books moved in a circular motion, so each student was taking part in 6 pieces of writing. Students had to read each story to see how it had evolved, and students were learning from each other. The stories were hilarious!

The classroom was incredibly quiet, then a burst of laughter, followed by more writing.
